Hey, I’m Des - and I’m so glad you’re here. I am the creator of the Shed & Shine System and was named one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 for my psychology based fat loss system. But more importantly, I’ve been where you are: stuck in the frustrating cycle of diets, feeling like nothing seemed to stick, and wondering why you constantly have to start over. My path to becoming a coach required resilience, grit, and real-life strategy. I navigated challenges like Lupus, PCOS, chronic illness, and being a single mom while losing 100 pounds. I learned that you are not broken; the problem isn't you- it’s the rigid system. That’s why I created Shed & Shine: a behaviour change program disguised as fat loss.
